This predates any pictures or history I ever saw there in the 80s. I think this was the core of what became the mammoth complex most knew it for. I believe the taller structure in the back behind the umbrellas is DeSantis’ family home which was essentially a big condo on the second floor facing Evergreen Golf Course. The view from the front of this version would have faced south toward 95th Street.
