  1. In the 70’s, maybe early 80’s I can recall a very distinquished and distinctive looking fair complected African American man who worked at Carr’s. His name was Clifford. He had a large whitish gray afro and dressed impeccably in 3 piece suits with a thin gold chain near the waist (maybe a pocket watch). He was the kindest, most generous person to the local children, awarding good grades with cash right out of his own pocket.
