Wabash between Balbo and 8th Street, behind what is now the Hilton Chicago, which opened in 1927 and was originally called the Conrad Hilton Hotel.       Just one minor point, the big hotel that was long called the Conrad Hilton was called the Stevens originally.

      • You are right John. I think it did not become the Conrad Hilton until around 1945 or so.

  2. I did a little more researching and the first location is close but the EXACT address was 819 S. Wabash. This has since been torn down and built back up as an 8 story building called The Loftrium. In other words, another piece of Chicago history has been lost.
