This picture makes me happy.
It does me too, Walter.
Even though it predates my time, things in the 1950s had a similar “feel” still.
Of course all of that – the happy crowds shopping on an amazing commercial street with about eight department stores and wonderful places to have lunch and a large collection of movie palaces within a short walk – is pretty much gone.
I love any of the pictures that bring it back, just a little.
