I think I saw traces of the niceness of this street in the early 60s. Notice…..I said EARLY 1960s!!!! About this time I was living at 7521 S. Eberhart around Grand Crossing/Chatham. Today that area is still as nice as it was in the late 50s/early 60s for the most part. However, Englewood/Gresham (especially around 65th and Green) looks like a war zone; a third-world country.
